Vietnam signed 15 out of 26 types of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) that have been in force with many countries and territories around the world. Many of those countries and territories are huge markets for agri-products such as the EU, CPTPP, RCEP, Asean, Eurasian Economic Union, as well as specific countries Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, China, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, India and the UK. This is an opportunity for agri-products not only of Vietnam but also of Binh Phuoc province and other countries that are developing very strongly in terms of agriculture in the region. The competition of agri-products is fierce both at home and abroad, both directions of export and import with in Vietnam. Facing this challenge, Binh Phuoc province still has many opportunities to break through and develop markets of its agri-products, at least the province’s key agri-products if the province determines a master strategy for a basket of its prioritized agri-products, exploits opportunities from a series of 15 FTAs, links public - private partners,... These solid bases are to build each agri-product into a group of specific FTA countries smaller strategies to effectively compete before the remaining FTAs are added. The situation in the neighboring country, the Kingdom of Cambodia is choosing not only agri-products but also many other goods from a basket of 41 prioritized goods (including cashew nuts, peppercorn, rice, cassava, banana, longan, mango, pineapple and natural rubber) to exploit opportunities from its 9 FTAs being in force.
